National Day for Truth & Reconciliation

Every day, Reitmans celebrates authenticity by using our voice to drive meaningful change. Diversity, inclusion and individuality guide the causes, initiatives and communities we give back to year-round.


For the National Day for Truth & Reconciliation, we released a limited-edition scarf featuring The Twilight Compositions: Luminous Fusion by Indigenous artist Nadia Myre. Her award-winning work explores the resilient history of Indigenous identity, memory and community.


Reitmans is also proud to donate $10,000 to Nadia’s chosen foundation, daphne, a non-profit Indigenous artist-run centre supporting artists through exhibitions, workshops, residencies and curatorial programs.

Our Past Initiatives

  • Celebrating Pride 2026

    In honour of Pride Month, our limited-edition "Love Is Key" keychains raised $25,000 for Egale, Canada's leading organization for 2SLGBTQI+ communities and issues.

  • The National Day for Truth & Reconciliation 2025

    Reitmans donated $10,000 to the Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata centre on behalf of Cree social media creator and Indigenous advocate Michelle Chubb to help provide community-based programs and services to Indigenous families.

  • Stepping Up For Pride 2025

    We released limited-edition “Step With Love” socks in honour of Pride Month and donated $25,000 of the proceeds to Egale, Canada's leading organization for 2SLGBTQI+ communities and issues.

  • Celebrating Black History Month 2025

    We chose to honour the lived experiences of 2 content creators we collaborate with closest: Toni Fifi and Vanessa Boudrias. We also donated a total of $10 000 to the organizations that are important to them.

  • The National Day for Truth & Reconciliation 2024

    In 2024, we donated $10,000 to the Indian Residential School Survivors Society in partnership with Ashley Callingbull to provide essential services to residential school survivors and families experiencing intergenerational trauma.

  • Honouring Pride 2024

    This year, we released a limited-edition “Threads of Love” charm bracelet in support of the 2SLGBTQI+ community and donated $25,000 of the proceeds to Egale, Canada’s leading national organization for 2SLGBTQI+ people and issues.
