When I first bought these, I was enamoured with them. Stretchy, comfy material, I thought they were a great find. However, a few wears in and they are not living up to their first impression. Here's what has come to drive me batty: 1. Quality: the single stitch seam down the sides of the legs is *weak*. As in, I've managed to poke holes in it 3x while pulling the leggings on. Keep in mind, I've only worn them about 4x and after the first hole I became super cautious about how I put them on. Not a fan of having to constantly mend my clothing. Also, the hem on the right leg came undone after the first wear. 2. Length: I haven't mended the hem as these definitely need to be shortened. I am 5'6" and I bought the regular length. They had a tag on them saying they would shrink, so despite them being on the long side I bought them anyway. They didn't shrink. They're at least an inch too long and I don't really want to hem them but the length is too sloppy to wear with ankle boots. 3. Fit: They're awkwardly loose around my lower calf/ankle. Not loose in a way I really noticed when I tried them on, but when I went to wear them with my mid calf boots, the material gathers at the the top of the boot and creates unattractive folds. I'd prefer a legging that sat smooth to my leg the whole way down. 4. Style: I tend to wear slim fitting tunics, often of a thinner weighted material with my leggings. The waistband and faux pockets are clearly visible through these kinds of tops, even if I layer an extra tank under them. The waistband I can kinda excuse but the faux pockets to me serve no purpose. Wouldn't be an issue if you wear looser or heavy-knit tops, which I usually don't 5. Knees!! They stretch out. I don't recall them being as bad the first couple of times I wore them but this last time I has saggy, wrinkly knee by the end of the day. So they seem to be losing their stretch already. So, if they're on for a great sale price, go ahead, but don't get your hopes up.
