I have become a huge fan of Reitmans' in the past 2 years for casual and work clothes. I LOVE the cut, color and fit of this top (XS - 5ft, 120lbs, petit). The only thing that really bothers me (also applies to many other Reitmans items), is that the seams do not lie flat. I understand I am not paying top dollar for these clothes, but in my opinion, it would make a HUGE difference paying attention to details such as sewing certain "visible" seams flat. From my experience, vertical seams do not need special treatment (they either lie fully flat against your body so you can position the seams to lie flat, or away from the body, not a huge problem there). Horizontal seams, however, deserve extra attention. Take this item for example, the upper back seams were supposed to form a simple pattern, but they are all twisted at different intervals, and toward different angles. If they had been sewn flat, it would instantly upgrade this top. I don't know how much more expensive that would cost to produce, but I would be willing to pay a buck or two extra just for that (because now I would have to sew them flat myself if I kept this top, and I am not a professional). I feel like this is something achievable for Reitmans as a brand and hope that they do take this suggestion into consideration.
