More of a long oval rather than round making for more visual impact. Double back fasteners, a metal one and a plastc tube one more common on hook-type earrings.

I wore them today. I don't like that there are two pieces to the backing. The metal part itself feels like it's slipping off, so I needed to use the little plastic tubes over those
