Thought about returning these. I bought 33 petite. The length is a little long, they don't bunch at the hem, but the hem lays across the top of my foot, instead of at my ankle. I am 5'0" with some extra weight on my middle and belly, as well as I tend to carry more weight in my bottom half (thighs and behind) than my top half. I also have a short torso. On my body, these were a miss for me, until I tried a few tops to see which ones would go best. I settled on 1/4 zip tops (for the current cold weather), to go with these jeans. They are less mom jeans than grandad pants, the kind that go all the way up until they have no where left to go. Seriously, they hit me 1 inch below my bra. The excess fabric on the leg doesn't do much to flatter my behind, it just looks like I'm wearing something two sizes too large. My belly looks so wide and huge in these. And the waist feels really weird sitting so high. It fits, but feels like it's holding everything in like a corset. However, I have to wear a belt to keep the crotch from looking saggy. I'm happy I bought them on sale, I would return them if I paid full price. I'm sure this style works for some people, just not me.
