Too Tight across Chest and Armholes

I'm 5'7" 180 lbs. The XL fits perfectly everywhere except across the chest. When I raise my arms, it is so tight, the whole front of the shirt also lifts up, otherwise it would tear at the armholes. Returning and hoping the XXL will be a better fit across the chest, but worried the rest of the blouse will be too big.
