I am a plus size woman, and with that comes larger calves. I have a very hard time finding stylish, pointy toed boots that will also fit my calves, any chance that Reitmans will carry them someday?

Some boot styles are now made with a combination of leather and stretch fabric, which will provide ease through the calf area. At the moment Reitmans does not carry boots but our Fall/Winter 2010 collection will feature some great new styles!

Hi, I have very wide shoulders and a tummy. I carry all my weight above my waist. I am slim at the bottom so everywhere I wear on top always makes me look like a football player. Any suggestions on how I can make my top look smaller and more feminine?

By your description, you appear to have an "apple" shaped figure. Meaning, you have broad shoulders, a large bust, and tummy, but narrow hips and slim legs. Avoid tops that are too loose, as they will only add bulk to your upper body. Instead, look for tops that drape over your middle section to conceal the tummy. Empire waist tops, dresses and tunics will do the trick, as they will hide your natural waistline. Another good choice are V-necklines as they will lengthen your neck area and minimize

I am looking for a job and recently gained a lot of weight because of an illness - I bought 2 of your business dress capris and a jacket - could I wear that to an interview?

A jacket paired with a career capri is a great summer outfit for a job interview- it is business and weather appropriate. In order to maintain a professional look, opt for a short sleeve blouse instead of a cami or tee, just in case you happen to remove your jacket during the interview. Complete your look with classic ballet flats or a strappy sandal (no flip flops!).

What styles can you suggest for a pear shaped body?

A pear shape's best assets are your slim neck, shapely shoulders, and defined waist. To play up your shape choose shirts that will draw the eye up to your shoulders- Necklines such as cowl or scoop will do the trick. To show off your waist, look for waist-defining details in your tops and jackets, such as belted or cinched styles. For pants, try fits that hit slightly below your natural waistline. In skirts, an a-line cut will skim over your problem areas and conceal the hips and thighs.

Here is a stumper for all you experts..I am a 5' tall woman who has no rear end to speak of, just flat.., what can you suggest for me besides long cover up shirts that I've been wearing. I want an OhhhhhLaaaaa laaaaaaaaaLaaaaaaaaa just once):

A good pair of pants can do wonders to accentuate the backside. Look for jeans with back pockets that are placed higher. In pants, the straight leg shape creates a long, lean line which won't draw attention to your backside in comparison to the rest of your figure. Find dresses and skirts that are belted at the waist. A belt will draw more attention to the waist and distract the eye from other areas.

I bought the linen sleeveless shirtdress for a wedding that I'm attending. What should I wear to cover my shoulders for the church and for the evening when it cools down?

A cardi or a lightweight scarf are both excellent cover-ups. A solid black cardi or one in a bright colour (if your shirtdress is black), will be a dressy addition to your look. If your are worried a knit cardi might be too casual, play up your accessories. A beautiful scarf can also substitute for a shawl, simply throw over your shoulders when the weather cools down.

With fall approaching, I don't want to spend too much money updating my wardrobe for summer. What are some inexpensive, easy choices to freshen up my look?

A great way to update your wardrobe without breaking the bank is to go for “wear now / wear later” pieces. A summertime tank, Original Comfort Skirt, and a colourful basic tee or cardi, are all pieces you can easily wear into Fall. A colourful tank can be worn on its own to mix and match with capris and shorts, and in Fall, your summertime tank will infuse colour into layered looks when worn under jackets, cardis and v-necks. The Original Comfort Skirt will keep you cool all summer long and in
